Rose Steele is the acting National Campaigns and Communications coordinator at the Australian Services Union.
Rose began working in the Australian trade union movement after in 2015 at the Young Workers Centre fighting against wage theft and empowering young workers in Victoria.
Before working with the campaigns and communications team at the ASU, Rose organised alongside workers in call centres and workplaces across the private sector. In her role with the Australian Services Union Rose directs national campaigns and member growth and retention projects to continue to grow our movement.
Rose is passionate about building workers’ power and advancing women’s rights, and as an ASU member and delegate is driven to bring people along to fight against inequality.
